HONGKONG ART
From the Nanjing Massacre to the Great Famine (1959-Mid 1961s) Hong Kong was influenced by a lot of social and political movements. The art forms of that time preliminarily extracted societal norms and were advocates for human rights, and democracy.
With gradual evolution, modern artists began to focus on cultural narratives, the Geoscape of the city, and also various abstract topics too. While we haven't heard a lot about Fine Arts, Movies based Artforms peaked here in 1980s to 1990s. Having said so, there are painters with extraordinary masterpieces. I've tried to delve a bit into one, check it out here
